Experts analyzed the entire production chain - from procurement management and preparation of documentation that controls production process, to planning of scientific activities and implementation of the quality policy. The audit of the quality management system for design and production of polymer composite materials and aircraft glazing confirmed compliance with the current standard, and highly praised the systematic work of the enterprise to improve the existing quality system.
“ORPE Technologiya became one of the first Russian enterprises that were granted a certificate of compliance with the requirements of the new version of the standard AS/EN 9100:2016. These standards also require continuous improvement of the quality policy. Management pays special attention to this issue, particularly to the encouragement of professional development among employees working in this field”, noted Vladimir Korsachev, quality director of ORPE Technologiya.
The new standard was successfully implemented at the enterprise in 2017 - one year before the deadline that was set by IAQC. Results of the first supervisory audit confirmed compliance of the products manufactured by ORPE Technologiya with the strict requirements of aerospace industry. At the moment the enterprise has more than 100 company standards and more than 55 work instructions.
