ORPE Technologiya has manufactured composite components for the South Korea launcher NARO

South Korea fired the launcher NARO (KSLV-1) with the composite components manufactured at ORPE Technologiya.

The development of the launcher NARO (KSLV-1) began in 2002. In 2004 Russia joined the project. The Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center with the active participation of ORPE Technologiya has created the first stage of the launcher KSLV-1. The first stage of the South Korea launcher is actually the modification of the first stage of new-type heavy launcher Angara.

ORPE Technologiya has over 30 years’ experience in the field of manufacture of CFRP structures for aerospace industry. The Enterprise has collaborated with the Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center in the projects on the development of Proton-M and Angara launchers for over 15 years.

At present ORPE Technologiya produces in lots and steadily modifies large-sized CFRP nose cones 4 m in diameter and 30m2 in area, integral cylindrical sections, fairings for launcher stages.
