Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Oleg Bocharov became acquainted with the stages of manufacturing high-tech products from carbon-fiber reinforced plastics and ceramics, as well as with the company’s capabilities in batch production of structural optics items. In particular, presented were the unique polycarbonate aircraft transparences.
“The company’s production and scientific potential allows diversification process to be of maximum efficiency. As early as this year, the share of civilian industry products in the total output of Technologiya will exceed the similar industry-average indicator”, said Andrei Silkin, Director General of ORPE Technologiya.
Oleg Bocharov was also acquainted with the key aeronautical projects being realized by the Obninsk company. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation singled out the project of commercialization of the specialized crop-dusting aircraft and the project of ORPE Technologiya competence development in making polymer composite structures for domestic aircraft industry as the most promising ones.
“The Obninsk company having solid engineering, manufacturing and skill-formation base is the leader in the Russian science-intensive production. It is essential that support at a state level should be given to such companies. Therefore one of the central tasks I allot to myself is to further strengthen the system of inner cooperation and interdisciplinarity”, summed up Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Oleg Bocharov.
