ORPE Technologiya and MVEN Company signed a memorandum of cooperation

The memorandum involves cooperation in realization of aircraft industry projects.

The document was signed by Andrei Silkin, Director General of ORPE Technologiya named after A.G. Romashin and Viktor Yermolenko, Director General of MVEN Company Ltd. The parties’ interaction involves cooperation in organization and introduction of batch production of polymer composite structure elements for general aviation aircraft and solution of a problem of import substitution in fulfillment of common tasks.

Technologiya has a wealth of experience in participation in the aircraft industry projects. MVEN Company has such projects. Combining our capabilities we intend to obtain real results. At present we consider a possibility of joint organization of general aviation aircraft batch production. This project will particularly make it possible to extend the boundaries of cooperation between enterprises of Kaluga Region and the Republic of Tatarstan”, noted Andrei Silkin, Director General of ORPE Technologiya.

“Small and medium-sized enterprises have trouble entering into cooperation with large competence centers. Meanwhile cooperation with them can yield tangible results. We can design aircraft, Technologiya can produce aircraft structure elements from polymer composite materials using up-to-date methods. I am sure that together we can realize the project of construction of a new domestic general-aviation aircraft which will be in demand on the market”, said Viktor Yermolenko, Director General of MVEN Company Ltd.

MVEN Company Ltd (the Republic of Tatarstan) is a designer and producer of light aircraft from polymer composite materials (PCM), fast-acting parachute escape systems and other products. The design center of the enterprise has developed a special-purpose agricultural airplane MVEN-2 Fermer for aerochemical operations.

The State Research Center ORPE Technologiya named after A.G. Romashin is Russia’s leading research and production enterprise specializing in development of science-intensive high-tech products from polymer composite materials, ceramics and optical glass for railway transport, aviation, rocket-and-space and other equipment.
