The results of the Competition were summed up within the framework of the 1st Russian Congress “Productivity doubling. From something in mind to something in kind”. 400 participants from 64 places in Russia, Byelorussia, Ukraine, USA, Ireland, Greece and Great Britain took part in the Congress. The main task of this event, successor of the Russian lean forum, is to adapt the best world experience to the Russian enterprises.
18 national companies took place in the competition “Lean Projects-2016”. 8 participants reached the final according to the results of the qualification stage. The teams of the enterprises where the problems of lean production were solved with the help of consulting companies (as distinct from ORPE Technologiya where these problems are solved by its own efforts) had the best results. It is just the own experience of the introduction of lean technologies at one of the production sites that formed the basis of ORPE Technologiya project and allowed the team of the Enterprise to take the honorary 4th place.
“RT-Chemcomposite occupies the leading position in research and production activities owing not only to the increase of production capacities and the number of qualified specialists but also to the training of personnel in the lean production methods. The use of lean production methods has already brought good results:
84% increase of labor productivity at one of the production sites of ORPE Technologiya, 14 million roubles per year economic effect from the realization of improvement suggestions,” said K. Shubsky, Director General of RT-Chemcomposite.
Work on the Enterprise activity improvement aimed at the increase of performance quality as well as the rational use of economic, material and labor resources has been carried out at the Enterprise since 2012. Regular training on the use of lean technologies is intended to involve maximum specialists into the introduction of lean production methods.
“It is impossible to retain a leading position in such segment of economics as the knowledge- intensive production without overall introduction of lean production methods which give a great economic effect,” said A. Silkin, Director General of ORPE Technologiya.
