The agreement provides for the research and production enterprises cooperation in the field of the development and production of thermal honeycomb panels and space composite structures as well as is directed to the manufacture of high-technology competitive advanced products.
One of the key areas of activities of ORPE Technologiya is the manufacture of high-technology space products. Thirty-seven space satellites having the component parts produced by the enterprise have been put into orbit for 11 countries of the world. “Our space know-how has no analogues in the world. The examples are the ultralight radiators with thermo-optical coating reducing the weight of the space vehicles by 25 percent and the frames for the satellites being assembled during 15 minutes. More than one interesting project has already been carried out due to the cooperation with Lavochkin Research and Production Association. “I’m confident that we shall enlarge our advances and enrich Russia aerospace industry with new developments,” stated A. Silkin, Director General of ORPE Technologiya.
Cooperation among the Enterprises is to be achieved on the basis of the long-term and annual programs. Joint work plan for 2017 prescribing the quantity and range of products being manufactured was signed together with the agreement. According to the signed plan ORPE Technologiya should execute the orders for the programmed scientific and meteorological satellites as well as for the application space vehicles. Total volume of work has been estimated at more than 300 million rubles.

By joining the experiences and competencies, we have a mind as to work on the space projects previously started and to develop the new ones,” commented on the signing of the agreement K.
