The Federal Accreditation Service (Rosakkreditatsiya) has accredited the testing centre according to the requirements of the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union (TR CU). The Certificate of Accreditation gives ORPE Technologiya the right to perform certification testing of the whole range of railway glazing products at its own testing centre as well as to carry out tests for outside organizations. In accordance with the test results the certification body is to grant a Certificate of Conformity.
“The level of competencies of the RT-Chemcomposite’s leading enterprise has been confirmed once again. The introduction of a valid test component into the integrated research-and-production complex with the right to carry out certification will become a weighty competitive advantage of our Obninsk Enterprise,” emphasized Kirill Shubsky, Director-General of the holding company RT-Chemcomposite.
The testing station of ORPE Technologiya is provided by the unique equipment and allows carrying out climatic, optical and dynamic testing of products for their compliance with normative and technical documentation. In addition to the testing of high-strength windshield and side glazing for railway vehicles the Enterprise can test multilayer protective glasses and multiple glass units for the land transport as well.
“The report made by the experts of Rosakkreditatsiya has confirmed that the equipment and professionalism of the employees of Technologiya guarantee the quality of products which have passed the tests at our testing centre,” noted Andrei Silkin, Director-General of Obninsk Research and Production Enterprise.
