ORPE Technologiya and KNITU-KAI concluded a partnership agreement

The State Research Center of the Russian Federation ORPE Technologiya and Kazan National Research Technical University named after A. Tupolev-KAI (KNRTU-KAI) have concluded a partnership agreement in the field of learning, scientific-technical and social-cultural activities.

Silkin, Director General of ORPE Technologiya: “Attraction of highly professional specialists is an urgent problem for many research and production enterprises and that is why the main task of the relationship with KNRTU-KAI is the achievement of specific results in training young specialists. The University has unrivalled opportunities in the field of higher education and realization of projects concerning the production process. The integration of our capabilities and the capabilities of two leading regions of the Russian Federation – the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kaluga Region – is bound to yield favourable results.”

A. Gilmutdinov, Rector of KNRTU-KAI: “We have the greatest respect for ORPE Technologiya and we are interested in the cooperation with this Enterprise. Our cooperation will lay down the foundation for the future development as it is first of all aimed at the work with the youth.”

V. Litvinov, Chairman of RT-CHEMCOMPOSITE Scientific and Technical Council, Doctor of Engineering, Professor: “KNRTU-KAI is one of few higher education establishments which fully conforms to the university status. Education, science and practical training are combined here. I’m sure that in cooperation with KNRTU-KAI we will be able to train the specialists having a good understanding of the production process.”

The partnership agreement was signed within the framework of the visit of ORPE Technologiya and RT-CEMCOMPOSITE representatives to the Republic of Tatarstan with the aim to establish a contact with educational, scientific and manufacturing organizations engaged in the production of civilian goods.

One of the most important parts of the program was the visits to the educational and research departments of KNRTU-KAI: engineering centers KAI-Composite and KAI-Laser, Robotics Center, Durability & Reliability Laboratory, KNRTU-KAI Engineering Lyceum for gifted children.
