In her report Director for Innovative and Strategic Development O. Koval emphasized the competitive advantages of the Obninsk enterprise. ORPE “Technologiya” named after A.G. Romashin combines the capacities of a customer, executor and investor. Such a system eliminates organizational and financial barriers between a designer and manufacturer, significantly reducing the cost and time of introduction of developments into the economic turnover.
Successful commercialization of Technologiya’s own research results includes sound-absorbing structures for the SAM-146 aircraft engine, polymer composite tail-plane components for the domestic МS-21 aircraft as well as a wide range of metallo-optical coatings for special-purpose glazing articles.
