The guests from the leading research center of China were shown the production of glazing articles with unique characteristics as well as the aerodynamics range. According to the Chinese colleagues, the test site equipment makes the results of specialized glass shock resistance testing as reliable as possible and opens new opportunities to increase competitiveness of products.
“The scientific and production capabilities of the enterprise were highly evaluated by the guests. The improvement of our development and conformance of the competences of ORPE Technologiya to the international level were also mentioned”, said Director General O. Komissar.
The visit resulted in parties’ determining possible directions of cooperation. These are development of glazing for high-speed trains and advanced Russian-Chinese wide-body aircraft as well as application of the heat-insulating material produced in Obninsk in manufacture of flight data recorders. Alongside with these issues the participants discussed a possibility of using the testing facilities at ORPE Technologiya for the needs of the Beijing Institute.
