The main aim of the event was to stimulate innovative activity and improve the efficiency and cooperation between innovation, design and engineering departments of the State Corporation enterprises.
The session included the reports on important issues for the domestic economy: development of additive technologies, organization of production management, new materials, commercialization of scientific developments. Among the speakers there were representatives of the Skolkovo foundation, FSUE VIAM, AIRKO, ORPE Technologiya, JSC Russian Helicopters, Shvabe, SPA High Precision Systems, the Kalashnikov Group and other leaders of domestic industry.
Diversity of the reports presented at the session fully complies with the conception of the first science town, because, according to Head of Obninsk administration А.Avdeev, Obninsk holds a unique position among nearly fifteen Russian science towns. The leadership of Obninsk is due to its diversity– there are ten different-purpose institutes functioning in Obninsk.
Within two days the guests were also able to get acquainted with the sights of the first science town and visit the manufacturing shops of ORPE Technologiya.
