The visit to the enterprise was aimed at the acquaintance with the economic potential of the first science town. It is ORPE Technologiya, defined as the core of the science-intensive cluster developed in the region, that to the full characterizes capabilities and real achievements of the town.
During the acquaintance with the production of polymer composite units for aerospace industry the guests got an opportunity to be visually convinced of the high level of the process automation.
The planned increase of automated sites combined with the developed scientific base and continuous modernization of production capacities is the base for the reinforcement of the enterprise’s positions on the domestic and international market of composite articles.
Among the key indicators of the production level can be, particularly, seven-meter CFRP fin torsion box panel for the passenger aircraft MS-21, this panel being produced at ORPE Technologiya and shown at JEC Composite Show 2014 in Paris. According to foreign specialists, such products can be manufactured by not more than five companies in the world.
