ORPE Technologiya produces in lots carbon fiber composite load bearing parts for the empennage of the MC-21 airliner. Automated processes, enterprise’s own technologies and domestic materials are widely used in production of the integral stringer structures. Additional financing will allow providing the release of 30-35 sets of components for the assembly of tin torsion box and tailplane torsion box per a year.
“In order to ensure the compliance with the MC-21 program obligations, we should be ready to expand the manufacturing capacity. Today’s signed agreement will allow solving the problems with the uninterrupted supply of our component parts to the customers,” said Andrey Silkin, Director General of JSC ORPE Technologiya.
Along with composite load bearing parts for fin torsion box and tailplane torsion box of MC-21, ORPE Technologiya produces the resonant sound absorbing structures and abradable panels made of domestic materials for aircraft engine PD-14 meant for the equipment of the new generation airliner. Also, the Obninsk enterprise has an extensive experience in the field of the development of cockpit glazing for the passenger aircraft.
