Sergei Tsyb became familiar with the manufacturing capabilities of JSC ORPE Technologiya in the field of polymer composite materials high-technology products (PCM), ceramics and structural optics. The First Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of Russia visited new production sites which were started up at the enterprise as part of the large-scale technology upgrade project. This project was completed in the course of Federal Target Program and the own production upgrade plan implementation. The brand new equipment applied for the production of the high-dimensional polymer composite material parts intended for airspace industry was demonstrated to Sergei Tsyb. Those are the PCM structures out-of-autoclave molding machines, the automated prepreg laying up equipment, the multi-purpose CNC machining center intended for tooling production and parts machining which are unrivaled in Russia.
“Since the year 2015 at our enterprise more than 20 new sites were put into operation and about 100 equipment units were placed in commission as part of seven Target Programs of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Russia. Two projects were implemented upon the import substitution program, three more projects are in progress. The existing facilities heavy upgrade and putting the new production sites into the operation enables us to fully comply with our obligations within the State Defense Order and civil products range development.”, the Director General of JSC ORPE Technologiya, Andrey Silkin claimed.
The participants of the meeting discussed the matters of the further development of the chemical industry holding company within Rostec State Corporation, which is headed by JSC ORPE Technologiya since July, 2020. Sergei Tsyb noted that nearly all of the companies within the holding company possess the unique competencies and that the improvement of the chemical industry effectiveness is one of the key targets of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
“At present Russian chemical products are highly competitive and commercially successful at both Russian and international markets. The companies of the chemical industry holding company within Rostec also have this potential. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is ready to provide the assistance in problem solution and promising projects development for the holding company. It’s also possible through the existing instruments of industrial enterprises state support.”, the First Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation, Sergei Tsyb claimed.
