Mikhail Rusin was presented with the gold medal of the World Intellectual Property Organization

Mikhail Yu. Rusin being the Director and the General Designer of the ‘Ceramics’ scientific and production division of JSC ORPE Technologiya named after A.G.Romashin and the holder of more than 160 inventor’s certificates and patents of inventions was presented with the gold medal of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The award was granted by Zaurbek Albegonov  the key advisor of the WIPO representative office in the Russian Federation during the general meeting of the 12-th International Forum ‘Intellectual Property -21st century’ which was held on April, 25th under the aegis of WIPO and Federal Service for Intellectual Property.

The undisputable merits of Mikhail Rusin as a distinguished inventor were complemented by honorary award. Having started his working way as an engineer he became the director of the scientific direction on developing fairings for a large number of flying vehicles of different types. The high-strength ceramic and composite structures possessing the unique set of characteristics and intended for defense flying units were created under his guidance.  ‘Glass-ceramics fairings’ research and production division created upon the initiative of Mikhail Rusin is the only one in Russia.

Being the Doctor of Engineering Science, the Merited Designer of Russian Federation, the Honorary aircraft industry worker, the member of the International Academy of Engineering and the International Academy of Ceramics, the ‘Rocket and Space Composite Structures’ chair professor of Moscow State Technical University named after N.E.Bauman, Mikhail Rusin is the recipient of two Prizes of The Russian Federation Government in the field of science and technology. The great services of the author of the textbooks for the higher educational institutes entitled ‘Aerospace Construction’ and ‘Rocket and Missile Engineering and Space Science’  were distinguished by Order of Honour, Medals ‘For Labor Valor’, ‘Moscow 850 Years Anniversary’, ’40 Years of Gagarin Space Flight Anniversary’ and the award of Federal Space Agency ‘Tsiolkovsky Honor’.
