The Enterprise divisions involved in the development and manufacture of glazing products for the railway transport underwent supervisory audit. Various activities making a single system of design, development, production and after-sale maintenance of products were audited. Experts highly estimated the status and dynamics of development of organizational, production and administrative processes at ORPE Technologiya.
"According to the last year's certification the maturity level of the Enterprise ranked on the IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard) grading scale was 67%. Results of the first, after granting the certificate of compliance, supervisory audit indicated that realization of the Enterprise strategy in the field of quality has positive dynamics – the maturity level of the Enterprise had grown to 68%", noted Andrei Silkin, Director General of ORPE Technologiya.
ORPE Technologiya produces more than 250 structural optics articles for rolling stock. Currently the Enterprise supplies 70% of the driver’s cabin windows for the railway transport in the Russian market.
