Alexander Oparin

Alexander Oparin

Alexander Oparin was born on October 20, 1970 in Murom (the Vladimir Region). 
He graduated from Rostov Higher Military Command and Engineering School of Missile Forces named after the Chief Marshal of Artillery M.I. Nedelin in 1992 with a degree in Automated Control Systems, and then from Don State Technical University in 2015 with a degree in Economy.
From 1987 to 2010, Alexander Oparin served at Plesetsk State Test Cosmodrome of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
From 2010 to 2012, he held various positions such as Principal Construction Supervision Engineer, Deputy Head of Investment Promotion and Development Department, Head of Department at OJSC Tushino Machine-Building Plant.
From 2012 to 2015, Alexander Oparin held senior positions at various divisions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. 
From 2015 to 2017, he worked as Deputy Director General, and then as Director General of JSC Center for Emergency, Rescue and Ecological Operations.
From 2017 to 2019, Mr. Oparin took up a position as Director General of OJSC All-Russian Institute of Light Alloys.
From 2020 to 2021, he occupied several positions ranging from First Deputy Director General, Interim Director General to Managing Director of JSC V.F. Solinov Technical Glass Research Institute.
From 2021 to 2022, Alexander Oparin is working as Managing Director of JSC GNIIChTEOS, and since July 2022, is simultaneously holding a position of Deputy Director General for Integrated Enterprises Management of ORPE Technologiya named after A.G. Romashin.
