Alexander Manto

Alexander Manto

Alexander Manto was born on November 25, 1962 in Moscow. He graduated from Moscow Order of the Labor Red Banner Engineering Physics Institute in 1986 with a degree in physics of metals and metal science, and then from the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation (today, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration) in 1999 with a degree in management.

Alexander Manto started his professional life at the Advanced Research Institute of Inorganic Materials (today, JSC Advanced Research Institute of Inorganic Materials named after Academician A.A. Bochvar, a part of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation) in 1986 as an engineer, and then as a junior research assistant. From 1990 to 1996, he worked as an engineer, and then as a senior engineer at All-Union Institute of Aviation Materials. From 1996 to 2009, Mr. Manto held various senior positions at private companies.

From 2009 to 2016, Alexander Manto occupied several positions ranging from Head of Department for Composite Materials Assets Management, Director for Implementation of the State Programs and Defense Procurement, Deputy Director General to First Deputy Director General at JSC RT-Chemical Technologies and Composite Materials.

In 2019, Alexander Manto was appointed Director for Capital Construction, and in January 2022, Deputy Director General for Investment Policy of ORPE Technologiya named after A.G. Romashin.
