ORPE Technologiya named after A.G. Romashin was awarded with the honorary title ‘Labor Glory of the Kaluga Region’ for the special contribution to the development of economic, social and industrial capacity of the Region as well as to the strengthening the defense power of Russia.

Technologiya research group of scientists, which had developed a new type of the aircraft glazing from monolithic polycarbonate and the technology of its production, was recognized by the Russian Federation Government Award for the achievements in the field of science and technology.
A CFRP load-carrying structure for a solar module of an advanced spacecraft was developed. The maximum specific weight of the structure assembly was 1.5 kg / m2, which was found the best value worldwide.
