ORPE Technologiya

Obninsk Research and Production Enterprise Technologiya named after A.G. Romashin is a competence center of Russia in the field of the development of nonmetallic science-intensive, high-technology products for aviation, rocket-and-space equipment, transport.

The Enterprise was established in 1959. Since 2010 it has become a member of the holding company RT-Chemical Technologies and Composite Materials of the Rostec State Corporation.

In 1985 the Enterprise was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.

Since 1994 ORPE Technologiya named after A.G. Romashin has been the State Research Center of the Russian Federation.

Applied research and innovative solutions in the development of advanced materials, unique structures and technologies.

Manufacture of products from polymer composite, ceramic and glass materials.

The Enterprise name

Full name of the Enterprise is Joint Stock Company Obninsk Research and Production Enterprise Technologiya named after A. G. Romashin.

Short name is JSC ORPE Technologiya named after A. G. Romashin.

Since 2015 the Enterprise has born the name of A. G. Romashin, the first Director General of ORPE Technologiya.
