COMPONENTS WITH THIN-FILM COATINGS FOR COCKPIT DISPLAY SYSTEMS

A wide range of interference thin-film components produced at ORPE "Technologiya" make possible the manufacture of instrument optics which meets the most stringent modern operational requirements placed upon flying vehicles and which is intended to increase crew's comfort and flight safety.


The following products have been developed and are mass-produced:

Optical antireflection components

(light wedge, compensator, protective glass) of built-in devices for aeronavigational instruments lighting with the reflection coefficient of up to 0.25%. These components increase the intensity and uniformity of instrument scale lighting and eliminate glare under intense exterior lighting.

Protective screens

for cathode-ray tube indicators which improve reliability of the information readout under exterior lighting of up to 100000 luces, increase contrast ratio 2 times, decrease the reflection coefficient to 0.5%, reduce electromagnetic radiation by a factor of three.

Infrared filters

for the adaptation of cockpit instruments lighting to the night vision systems with the transmission in a visible region of optical radiation of no less than 75% and within 0.65-0.9 μm - less than 1%.

COMPONENTS WITH INTEFERENCE COATINGS

Various compositions and structures of multilayer interference coatings and also methods of their application to the surface of glass and flexible films developed at ORPE"Technologiya" made it possible to create a variety of light filters and mirrors with predetermined properties.
The coatings possess high mechanical strength; they are heat-resistant and advantageous in all climatic conditions.
