Silicate glass glazing for aviation

List of silicate glass glazing items for aviation

COCKPIT GLAZING for home aircraft and helicopters has been manufactured at ORPE "Technologiya" since 1960.
Glazing is a transparent multilayer composition which consists of high-strength glass, conducting and adhesive materials and which is cased in frames from light high-strength metal with the help of flexible polymeric materials. These frames ensure cockpit tightness and take mechanical loads. High-quality glasses, modern adhesive and conducting materials made in Russia and abroad are used for glazing.
A heating system eliminates outer glass icing or overheating through the use of electroconductive films and reliable control system for the regulation of voltage being applied.
The specialists of ORPE "Technologiya" have developed the dropping technology which allows one to obtain glass billets of required curvature. The glueing technology makes it possible to obtain a multilayer composition of glazing which increases operational safety, to avoid optical distortion of space, to obtain a high light transmission factor.
ORPE "Technologiya" glazing possesses high strength and high bird-impact resistance.
