Composite ceramic armour

The armour from light ceramics and a composite based on high-strength materials intended for different branches of the armed forces, money collection service, special-purpose services, guards, etc.
It gives the protection by all levels of the Russian standard on protection (GOST R50744-95), as well as protects from armour-piercing bullets of calibre 12.7 mm and high-energy shell or bullet splinters.
High protective characteristics are obtained owing to the maximum advantageous combination of properties of ceramics and organoplastics: bullet energy is suppressed at the expense of high specific impact resistance of ceramics and also at the expense of sliding and tension of organoplastic reinforcing fibers.
